Annual Fund Campaign

LCCC Foundation 2012 Annual Fund Campaign

Economic Development.  Educational Opportunity.  Cultural Diversity.  Community Growth.

These four cornerstones represent the foundation for Lorain County's advancement.  Lorain County Community College is committed to serving as the bridge to transport the county into an exciting new phase of substantial growth.  As we work towards enhancing our community's economic competitiveness, your support of our 2012 Annual Fund lays the groundwork.

Q. Why does a public college need private support?
A.  LCCC has been rated as Ohio's top community college.  This rating is a tribute to our unmatched programs and high level of education.  By offering unique paths to advancement such as the University Partnership, local residents can pursue the education they need on their terms.  Unfortunately, the costs of operating a community college are barely covered by tuition, local, and state support.  Your dollars are needed to continue these exceptional programs and to help the college respond to the community's ever-changing needs.

Q. Why is the Annual Fund important?
A.
The Annual Fund represents a significant LCCC area of support.  By providing a gift to the Annual Fund, you allow the college to put your money where it is most needed within each of the designated cornerstones.  These funds relieve the burden placed on tuition, and enable the Foundation to continue providing scholarship support.

Donating to the Annual Fund is an effective way to demonstrate your belief in LCCC's mission.  Our goal is 100% participation, which means your gift, at any level, is crucial.

ALL GIFTS TO THE LCCC FOUNDATION ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE.

The LCCC Foundation's primary role is to enhance our community's quality of life by investing in key Lorain County Community College priorities that present the greatest impact and growth opportunities for the people of our community.
