The White House Summit on Community Colleges is Seeking Your Input
On October 5, the first-ever White House Summit on Community Colleges will be held in Washington, D.C. The summit is an opportunity for community colleges, faculty, businesses, policymakers and students to discuss the importance of community colleges in training the nation’s evolving workforce.
| LCCC invites you to participate and watch a live broadcast of the Summit beginning at 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 5 in the College Center Commons. The LCCC event will include guest speakers, video presentations of LCCC students and of President Obama’s visit to LCCC, and refreshments. The White House Summit will be broadcast live beginning with the opening presentation at 12:15 p.m. and ending with closing comments at 3 p.m. Refreshments will be provided. |
