White House Hispanic Community Action Summit

A White House Hispanic Community Action Summit will be held at the Lorain County Community College Elyria Campus:

  • Saturday, February 18 
  • 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Spitzer Conference Center  

The summit will cover a wide range of topics, including jobs and the economy, education, health care, and the need to fix our nation’s broken immigration system.  The meeting will begin with a morning plenary session followed by an innovative set of open-space workgroups where participants collaboratively set the agenda and identify next steps for community action.

The summit is free and open to the public, but participants must register in advance of the event by emailing WhiteHouseforHispanicEducation@ed.gov.

Campus Road Construction

The west entrance to parking lot 3 south at South Loop Drive (south of the Campana Building) will be closed for repairs until mid-December. All other exits and entrances to this lot will remain open. See the LCCC campus map at www.lorainccc.edu/map.
