Managing to Thrive as a Public Official
Navigating a successful public position requires the balancing of integrity, knowledge, skills, and relationships. The Public Services Institute of Lorain County Community College will present “Managing to Thrive as a Public Official” at 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 17 in the LCCC Spitzer Conference Center.
The seminar will focus on understanding and adhering to the ethics and protocols of being an elected or appointed official.
John Bender, member of the State Board of Education (District 2) and former Ohio State House Representative, will present the program. Through active discussion, the participants will also learn about the inherited expectations, roles, and responsibilities of family members and close friends.
