GET TRAINED AS A DESKTOP SUPPORT AND APPLICATIONS SPECIALIST
Prepare for a career in the Information Technology field as a Desktop Support and Applications Specialist Technician by entering a professional Microsoft certification program at Lorain County Community College. Desktop Support Applications Specialist Technicians provide assistance to users of Microsoft software applications like Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.
The program runs from 5:30-9:30 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, January 29 through February 14. Cost of the program is $1,995 and includes training, Microsoft official curriculum, exam preparation, exam test vouchers and career planning assistance.
This program will prepare you to sit for the national certification exam to become a Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST). Earning this Microsoft certification will ensure you have the skills to troubleshoot desktop environments that run on the Microsoft Windows operating system. Desktop support technicians are employed as PC/Application support specialists, technical support representative/specialists, and desktop applications specialists.
