LCCC’S WOMEN’S LINK TO PRESENT SEMINAR ON STAYING SAFE
The Lorain County Community College’s Women’s Link office is presenting a free seminar on staying safe at work, at home, at school or any other public place from 12-1 p.m., Tuesday, March 4 in room 227 of the LCCC College Center building.
Virginia M. Beckman of Genesis House will present a program called TEACH (Training, Education, Advocacy and Campus Help). This program helps people recognize the warning signs of someone who may become violent, provides guidance on how to address the threat before things turn violent and how to offer assistance to those who may be the victims of violence.
