LEARN ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF SIX SIGMA TRAINING AT FREE INFORMATION BREAKFAST
Six Sigma is a tool that can be used by business and industry to streamline processes and ensure quality results while reducing costs. This tool, when combined with the “voice of the customer,” allows a company to achieve huge increases in productivity and customer satisfaction.
Learn how you can get your organization trained in the principles of Six Sigma at a free breakfast information session from 7:30-9 a.m., Thursday, January 8 at Lorain County Community College’s Entrepreneurship Innovation Center.
For more information or to register for the free information breakfast, call 1-800-995-5222 (ext. 7544) or register online at www.lorainccc.edu/sixsigma.
“You can’t afford not to send someone to Six Sigma training,” said instructor Dan Sommers. “You can save 10 times the cost of the class.”
Benefits of instituting Six Sigma processes include reducing scrap, reducing downtime, reducing returns, reducing rework and shortening the work cycle time, he noted.
Green and Black Belt Six Sigma training starts in February at LCCC’s Six Sigma and Lean Institute. “During the training participants work on real projects that save the company money. They can then bring these principles back to their workplace and help save the company even more,” said Ellen Shafer, coordinator of LCCC’s Six Sigma and Lean Institute.
