Tickets can be purchased at the Stocker Arts Center box office from 12-6 p.m., Monday through Friday, online at www.lorainccc.edu/stocker, or over the phone at (440) 366-4040.
Circa 1939 singers Joan Ellison and Mark Flanders and pianist Jennifer Heemstra return to the Stocker Arts Center Studio Theatre for an encore appearance, bringing vibrant authenticity to the greatest songs of a Golden Age - the songs of George and Ira Gershwin. Working from original recordings (circa 1920-1943), they bring back the songs as they sounded during the Gershwin’s’ heyday, from “Fascinating Rhythm” and “’SWonderful” to “They Can’t Take That Away From Me.” They even throw in some four-hand piano fireworks.
