Powwow to Provide Educational Experience
A powwow at Lorain County Community College will offer an education experience in honor of Native American History Month.
The powwow will be held from 12-3 p.m., Tuesday, November 10 at LCCC’s Stocker Cinema Hall.
Sponsored by the LCCC Role Players Association and the Office of Student Life, the event will be coordinated by Native American tribal leaders from the region and will include singing, dancing and other activities. The powwow will provide information about various Native American tribes and nationalities, and many tribal leaders will wear their full regalia, including musical instruments.
Admission is free and refreshments will be provided.
