INFORMATION SESSIONS SET FOR SEVERAL UNIVERSITY PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMS AT LCCC
The University Partnership program and several of its partner schools have scheduled information sessions during the month of October for students to learn about programs offered by the four-year schools on the Lorain County Community College Campus.
The information sessions are:
- Bachelor of Science in Sports Studies from the University of Akron
The University of Akron will host an information session on its bachelor's degree in Sport Studies at 11 a.m., Friday, October 9 in the LCCC University Center, room 211.
The sport science program prepares students for a variety of careers in this field including careers in high school, university, and professional athletic administration and other careers within the sports industry. Students in this partnership program are completing the sport science bachelor’s degree with a sport management concentration.

- Master of Engineering Management Degree from Ohio University
David Koonce, associate professor and director of the Engineering Management program at Ohio University, will host an information session on Ohio University's Master of Engineering through the University Partnership from 9-10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 10 in the LCCC University Center, room 122.

- CSU University Partnership Transfer Day
Cleveland State University and the University Partnership will host a Transfer Day information session from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, October 20 in the LCCC University Center, room 122.
Prospective CSU undergraduate partnership students can apply for admission, have transcripts reviewed, meet with Cleveland State transfer and program advisors and meet with financial aid representatives.

- Public Health Degree from Youngstown State University
The University Partnership and Youngstown State University will host an information session for the Bachelor of Science in Applied Science (B.S.A.S.) degree in Public Health from 2-3 p.m., Wednesday, October 21 in the LCCC University Center, room 215.
The public health program integrates classroom and experiential learning in many of its courses. Public health graduates are employed in public health agencies, non-profit organizations, hospitals and other health and care settings and governmental agencies.
