All Writers are Invited to Participate in National Gallery of Writing
Event at LCCC

Writers in Lorain County are invited to join thousands of writers throughout the nation to display their compositions in www.galleryofwriting.org/galleries/80099, a local partner gallery in the National Gallery of Writing, hosted by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE). 

All sorts of writers—students, teachers, parents, grandparents, service and industrial workers, managers, business owners, legislators, retirees, and many more—and all forms of composition from poems, to short stories, emails, journal entries and videos will be featured in the Gallery. 

At Lorain County Community College, writing cafés will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5-6 p.m., Monday through Thursday, September 21-24 on the second floor of the Barbara and Mike Bass Library/Community Resource Center, the Beth K. Stocker Art Gallery, the Student Life office and the Corner Bistro. 

Any person in Lorain County is welcome to submit a piece of writing.  Submissions will be unveiled at the Beth K. Stocker Art Gallery celebrating the National Day of Writing on Tuesday, October 20.
