Lorain County Community College to Host President Obama on Second Stop on the White House to Main Street Tour

Obama to discuss jobs and the economy with Ohioans on January 22

President Obama will travel to Lorain County in Ohio on Friday, January 22, 2010 for the next stop on the White House to Main Street Tour.  He will hold a town hall meeting at Lorain County Community College.  Further details are not available at this time.  Updated information will be posted on the LCCC homepage as it is finalized.

The town hall meeting will include Ohio workers, local business leaders, small business owners, and local leaders about ideas for continuing to grow the economy and put Americans back to work.  President Obama will spend the day in the Lorain County area speaking to Ohioans about the challenges they are facing and their ideas for how we will continue to work together to turn the economy around.

In December, President Obama kicked off the White House to Main Street Tour in the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania.  In an effort to spend some time out of Washington and talk to American families about what they are experiencing during these tough economic times, the President will regularly visit communities across the country over the next several months where he will spend a day with members of the community and share ideas to rebuild our economy for the long term.
