ENROLL NOW FOR SUMMER AND FALL COURSES AT LCCC

Registration is now open for summer and fall semesters at Lorain County Community College.

Summer semester courses begin on or after Tuesday, May 28. Fall semester courses begin on or after Monday, August 26.  Courses are offered in full semester, 10-week, 8-week or 5-week sessions.

Studies show that students who enroll in courses year-round are more likely to complete a degree. Courses are offered at a variety of times, with many courses offered online. With so many options, you’re sure to find courses at LCCC to fit in your busy schedule all year long.

More than 110 degree and certificate programs are available to meet the needs and interests of a large variety of students. Degree areas include business, computer and information technology, engineering and manufacturing, health care and nursing, science and mathematics, communications and more.
Registration for current students is underway. General registration begins on Friday, March 29. 

For those who want to earn a college degree but are unsure of what to study, LCCC offers a variety of free services to help students find their best path to a rewarding career.

To help students sort through the choices, LCCC offers MyPlan, a free online career planning resource that assesses a student’s interest in a variety of fields. To check out MyPlan, visit www.lorainccc.edu/myplan.

  • LCCC Lorain Learning Center at St. Joseph Community Center, 205 W. 20th Street, Suite M590, Lorain
  • Lorain County Growth Partnership Learning Center in the Lorain County Administration Building, located at the corner of 3rd Street and Middle Avenue in Elyria
  • Midpoint Campus Center, 50 Pearl Road, Suite 300, Brunswick
  • University Partnership Ridge Campus, 32121 Lorain Road, North Ridgeville

In an effort to make each student’s college experience as successful as possible, all new students are required to attend a free orientation session before registering for classes. Students will learn about support services, such as tutoring, academic advising, counseling and career services. The orientation also includes a tour of campus. LCCC's Enrollment and Financial Services offices have returned to normal business hours: Monday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; and Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. See the complete list of office hours at www.lorainccc.edu/hours

MyTuition Guarantee

LCCC students now have the opportunity to participate in the MyTuition Guarantee. This new program holds tuition and fee rates for students registering in fall 2014 and spring 2015 for up to three years or until the completion of a degree, whichever comes first.
