ENROLL NOW FOR SUMMER AND FALL COURSES AT LCCC

Registration is now open for summer and fall semesters at Lorain County Community College.

Summer semester courses begin on or after Tuesday, May 28. Fall semester courses begin on or after Monday, August 26.  Courses are offered in full semester, 10-week, 8-week or 5-week sessions.

Studies show that students who enroll in courses year-round are more likely to complete a degree. Courses are offered at a variety of times, with many courses offered online. With so many options, you’re sure to find courses at LCCC to fit in your busy schedule all year long.

More than 110 degree and certificate programs are available to meet the needs and interests of a large variety of students. Degree areas include business, computer and information technology, engineering and manufacturing, health care and nursing, science and mathematics, communications and more.
Registration for current students is underway. General registration begins on Friday, March 29. 

For those who want to earn a college degree but are unsure of what to study, LCCC offers a variety of free services to help students find their best path to a rewarding career.

To help students sort through the choices, LCCC offers MyPlan, a free online career planning resource that assesses a student’s interest in a variety of fields. To check out MyPlan, visit www.lorainccc.edu/myplan.

Registration may also be completed in person at any of the LCCC Learning Centers:

  • LCCC Lorain Learning Center at St. Joseph Community Center, 205 W. 20th Street, Suite M590, Lorain
  • Lorain County Growth Partnership Learning Center in the Lorain County Administration Building, located at the corner of 3rd Street and Middle Avenue in Elyria
  • Midpoint Campus Center, 50 Pearl Road, Suite 300, Brunswick
  • University Partnership Ridge Campus, 32121 Lorain Road, North Ridgeville

In an effort to make each student’s college experience as successful as possible, all new students are required to attend a free orientation session before registering for classes. Students will learn about support services, such as tutoring, academic advising, counseling and career services. The orientation also includes a tour of campus. LCCC to Undergo Quality Review

Lorain County Community College is seeking comments from the public about the College in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency.

The College will host a visit March 21-23, 2016, with a team representing the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).  The team will review the institution's ongoing ability to meet HLC’s Criteria for Accreditation.

15 to Finish: Add a Late-Start Class Today

Take at least 15 credit hours per semester and you'll be closer to graduation and closer to your career. There’s still time to add a class to your schedule. Late-start courses begin February 22, March 21 and April 4.
