Journey through 50 years of Musicals with ‘Hooray for Hollywood’ at LCCC’s Stocker Arts Center

Take a nostalgic journey through the most popular musicals of the last 50 years in this delightful look at Hollywood’s greatest song and dance live on stage at 7:30 p.m., Thursday,  March 14 at Lorain County Community College’s Stocker Arts Center.

Tickets are $36 for orchestra and $29 for mezzanine, and can be ordered online at http://www.stockerartscenter.com/ or by calling the Stocker Arts Center box office at (440) 366-4040 from 12-6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Tickets are also available at the box office, located in the lobby of the Stocker Arts Center.

“Hooray for Hollywood” features a cast of 12 wonderful singers and dancers and more than 300 costume changes. Enjoy film clips of your favorite movies from “Singing in the Rain” and “The Glenn Miller Story” to “Grease,” “Dirty Dancing”, and “Titanic.” “Hooray for Hollywood” sings and dances its way through over 30 songs including “Staying Alive,” “All that Jazz,” “Dancing Queen,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and many more. Watch as lights, camera, and action unfold live on stage.
