Tony Award Winners - & More! Featuring the Don Disantis Orchestra at LCCC’s Stocker Arts Center

Enjoy your favorite Broadway songs from the 1940s through the 1980s with “Tony Award Winners - & More! Featuring the Don Disantis Orchestra” at 8 p.m., Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29 at Lorain County Community College’s Stocker Arts Center.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for LCCC students and children 12 and under. Tickets can be ordered online at http://www.stockerartscenter.com/, or by calling the Stocker Arts Center box office at (440) 366-4040 from 12-6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Tickets are also available at the box office, located in the lobby of the Stocker Arts Center.

From the talented group that last year brought to Stocker “The Great American Songbook – and More,” these great musicians are now pleased to present their show of great Tony Award winning songs from Broadway Musicals that date from the 1940s through the 1980s. However, the show won’t stop there. Tossed in with songs from Tony Award winners will be some great musical tunes from shows that did not win the Tony for that particular year. Great songs from wonderful Tony and non-Tony winning shows like “South Pacific,” “My Fair Lady,” “Fiddler On The Roof,” “Man Of La Mancha,” “Camelot,” “Oliver,” “Les Miserables,” “Phantom Of The Opera” and many more.
Disantis and the members of his orchestra have extensive backgrounds on Broadway, including orchestra pit musician and occasionally music directors for shows. Disanti has even performed many of the roles these songs are from.

You’re sure to know many of the songs, but you may be surprised that some of your favorite tunes got their start on Broadway.

Campus Road Construction

The west entrance to parking lot 3 south at South Loop Drive (south of the Campana Building) will be closed for repairs until mid-December. All other exits and entrances to this lot will remain open. See the LCCC campus map at www.lorainccc.edu/map.
