to Open in Fall 2008

The new 86,000 square foot Library/Community Resource Center will be located north of the LCCC College Center building, and connected to the College Center by a second-floor walkway. The image to the right is live webcam video of the center under construction.

• The first floor will feature popular periodicals, newspapers and books, as well as CDs, DVDs and an area with children’s books.
• The second floor will include an information commons with computer terminals, group study areas and about half of the library’s book collection.
• The third floor will contain the balance of the library’s book collection along with many individual study areas.
• Wireless access will be available throughout the center.

The LCCC Library/Community Resource Center will be designated as a branch location of the Elyria Public Library System, which will enrich community access to information, services and resources of both LCCC and the Elyria Public Library.
