A completed application form must accompany all student essays. Essays must be typed in 12-point font, double-spaced. Do not exceed 1,000 words in length.

**Essay must be the original work of the entrant and not previously published elsewhere. Open only to current LCCC students. Full-time LCCC employees, their immediate family members, and any LCCC faculty are not eligible. The decisions of the judges are final.
