Cosmetic Therapy (Electrolysis) Program
Program Description
This Ohio State Medical Board approved program will prepare students to function as electrologists. The electrologist is a highly skilled professional qualified in permanent hair removal. With a career in Electrolysis, an individual can work for physicians, in spas/salons or can be self-employed. This rewarding career can also lead to laser certification.
Electrolysis is the only permanent method of hair removal. Electrolysis has been around since the late 1800’s. Modern techniques include state-of-the-art, computerized equipment and three basic modalities: Galvanic, Thermolysis and Blend.
