Paramedic to Registered Nursing Program
Lorain County Community College & the Cleveland Clinic Foundation have partnered to offer a new access program for currently licensed paramedics interested in becoming registered nurses. This program is unique in its delivery in that all lectures will be available online for the students’ convenience. The lab and clinical components will also be offered in a unique, flexible design in order to best suit the scheduling needs of the paramedic student. All clinical sites will be on campuses of the Cleveland Clinic and a new lab facility has been developed at Fairview General Hospital. This program will enable students, upon completion, to apply for and take the NCLEX examination to become a registered nurse.
