Meet the Personal Trainers

Meet the LCCC Personal Trainers

Celeste Baker
NCSF CPT
Celeste holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with minors in Management and Economics from Youngstown State University. She will graduate in December with an Associate’s Degree in Sports and Fitness Management and a certificate of proficiency in Personal Training. She is a certified personal trainer through the National Council on Strength and Fitness and is certified in CPR with AED.

“While losing 110 pounds through diet and exercise, I learned a lot about fitness and also about feelings. The experiences that have led me to this point help me relate very well with others looking to embark on their own personal journeys. While I am a good cook, I didn’t put that weight on simply because I loved to eat and didn’t stop exercising simply because I was lazy. There is a lot of stuff that happens to people that gets in their heads and eventually they wake up not seeing the person they thought they were in the mirror. I would love nothing better than to help other people turn their lives around to become fit for the first time in their lives or to regain their fitness after a ‘hiatus.’

Josh Busse

Josh is a graduate of Lorain County Community College with an Associates of Applied Science in Sports and Fitness Management. In addition, he is certified with the American Red Cross as an emergency responder and is CPR/AED certified with the American Heart Association. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science with the University of Akron.

Josh states “in February of 2010 I was 295 lbs., out of shape and doing even the simplest task was a struggle for me. I decided to make a change and start exercising and learning more about how to live a healthy life and lost over 65 lbs. in the first year. I decided that I wanted to help people like me that wanted to make a change in their life but didn’t know where to begin or were too afraid to take that first step. I started school in the fall of 2011 and graduated this past May with a wealth of information on the right and wrong ways to exercise. I am excited to continue on with the University Partnership through the University of Akron to further increase my knowledge base to be able to help people more effectively."
