“While losing 110 pounds through diet and exercise, I learned a lot about fitness and also about feelings. The experiences that have led me to this point help me relate very well with others looking to embark on their own personal journeys. While I am a good cook, I didn’t put that weight on simply because I loved to eat and didn’t stop exercising simply because I was lazy. There is a lot of stuff that happens to people that gets in their heads and eventually they wake up not seeing the person they thought they were in the mirror. I would love nothing better than to help other people turn their lives around to become fit for the first time in their lives or to regain their fitness after a ‘hiatus.’ ”
