1/23/08 The Men's Golf Team is looking for interested student-athletes to join the golf team for the 2008 Spring Season. Candidates must be a Full-Time Student at LCCC. 10/11/07 Final Fall Practice Statistics leaders include Eric Polansky with a 77.1 avg, Malek Masri with a 86.8 avg, and Matt Diaz with a 87.6 avg per each 18 hole round. Team member Jason Stiwald showed marked improvement while making adjustments to his swing & game. Chris Jensen made large strides at being more competitive in spite of not having any prior playing experience in competitive tournaments.
10/08/07 Eric Polansky leads LCCC with an 80 and Malek Masri adds an 84 as the team finishes up the Fall Practice Season with play at the Owens CC Invt'l held at the very difficult Belmont CC in Perrysburg, OH.
10/04/07 Eric Polansky posts a 75 and Matt Diaz adds a 87 to lead LCCC at the LCCC Fall Invt'l held at Spring Valley CC in Elyria.
9/29/07 Eric Polansky leads the team again while posting a 71 and Malek Masri posts a solid 80 at the Lakeland CC Invt'l held at Blackbrook GC.
9/21-22/07 The entire men's golf team continues to improve despite not shooting great scores at the Baldwin-Wallace Fall Invt'l held at Pine Hills GC and the new Shale Creek GC. Eric Polansky posts a 166 (82-84). Malek Masri posts an 84 before having to withdraw from the second round with a wrist injury.
09/14-15/07 Eric Polansky shoots 76-75 (151) at the Malone College Fall Invitational at Tannenhauf GC in Alliance, Ohio
09/09/07 John Carroll Univ Golf Invt'l - Eric Polansky shoots a 74, 3-shots from the winning tournament score while Jason Stiwald and Malek Masri contribute with scores of 85-86 respectively in the first fall match of 2007.
08/27/07 The 2007-2008 Fall-Spring Team Roster is comprised of returnees Eric Polansky and Malek Masri plus 1rst year players Jason Stiwald, Matt Diaz, Steven Vigg, and Chris Jensen. |
