This year's tournament is scheduled to be played at the newly refinished Lorain County Community College outdoor, lighted tennis courts.

LCCC is located at 1005 Abbe Road North in Elyria. Six outdoor courts are reserved for tournament play. Our indoor courts are located in the Fieldhouse and are available during inclement weather. The tournament director will provide supervision at court-side throughout the tournament.

  • New tennis balls provided for each match
  • Numerous male & female adult & youth events

Awards
Awards will be issued by the tournament director at the completion of each event.  For events with eight or more entries, awards will be issued to champions and runner ups.  In events with four to seven entries, awards will be issued to the champions only.

Seeding & Draw
The director will organize the brackets.  The top players in each event will be seeded.  If a player is not ranked, the tournament director will use his discretion in appropriately ranking them Players entered in multiple events should be ready to play multiple matches each day.  A minimum of four entries are needed for the event to run.  If there are 3 or fewer entries in a category the participant will be automatically moved to the next nearest category.

The draw will be posted on Friday, July 10 at the H.P.E.R office in the Physical Education Building.  Players may call H.P.E.R. office for times between 8:30-4:30 at 366-7652.  All players must be available to play throughout the tournament & are solely responsible for their own starting times throughout the tournament.

Deadlines
All applications must be received by Tuesday, July 7th, 2009. No entry is valid without entry fee. Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

Rules
Players must report match results to tournament director. This is a single elimination tournament.
