Program applications will be accepted starting July 16, 2009.
Advanced placement for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) is available through the ACCESS to Nursing program.
The LPN-to-RN Associates degree nursing program for the Mahoning Valley will begin support course work in May 2009.
An LPN who qualifies (see the Enrollment Center for Program Application) must have completed BIOG 121, Anatomy and Physiology I, and PSYH 151, Introduction to Psychology, prior to taking NURS 101--Transition to Registered Nursing.
The LPN must complete Nursing 101 with a grade of "C" or better in order to gain advanced placement.
