Train for a new career in less than one year!
LCCC offers many certificate training programs that help you learn new career skills in
a hurry. The short-term training opportunities are perfect for those who want to train for a good job, but aren't able to commit to long-term education or training.
Credits earned for many One-Year Technical Certificate and Short-Term Technical Certificate programs can be applied to a related LCCC associate's degree or an LCCC University Partnership bachelor's degree.
- One-Year Technical Certificate
Coursework typically takes one year to complete and transfers into the related associate degree program.
- Short-Term Technical Certificate
Earn a certificate in one year or less. Coursework typically transfers into related one-year technical certificate and associate degree programs.

Credit vs. Non-Credit. What's the Difference?
The credit and non-credit programs both provide valuable job skills for a great career. Classes taken in credit programs, however, can often be used as a stepping stone toward an associate's or bachelor's degree.
