Lorain County Community College presents the IT Fast Track in Networking

According to Payscale.com, those holding technician certifications starting salary in the Cleveland area with 0-1 year experience is over $40,000 and with 3-5 years experience, is over $50,000!

Certification training includes: A+, Network + and MCTS in Server 2008.

IT Certification Fast Track includes:

A+ Training and Certification
an ideal program for anyone who wishes to gain a basic understanding of computer network technology. Troubleshoot, install programs, use various versions of Windows and much more. Gain the benefit of hardware knowledge such as CPUs, memory, storage media, modems, network interface cards (NICs) and peripherals.

Network + Training and Certification
covers two main areas of competency: Networking Technology and Networking Practices. Demonstrate knowledge of Network Troubleshooting, TCP/IP, Network Operating Systems, Network Installation and Upgrading, and much more.

MCTS – Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist- MS 6421- Demonstrate your specialized technical expertise with a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification. By earning this certification, you can prove your ability to successfully implement, build on, troubleshoot, and debug a particular Microsoft technology, such as a Windows operating system, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Visual Studio. The Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certifications provide the foundation for Microsoft Certification. These certifications are designed to validate your skills on the features and functionality of key technologies. You can show your depth of knowledge in one specific technology, earn multiple MCTS certifications to show breadth across different products, or build on the MCTS to earn a Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification.

MS 6421 – Configuring and Troubleshooting a Windows Server 2008 Network- prepares you to successfully implement, build on, troubleshoot, and debug this technology and sit for the MCTS exam 070-642- TS: Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Configuring. 

Program includes instruction, books and materials, Comp Tia and Microsoft exams, practice exams, 3 day hands- on networking lab and career assistance.

               Classes run weekdays during the day.
