Meet Coach Andrew Loufman
Andrew Loufman joins LCCC this season as the Head Women’s Soccer coach. He brings with him experience as a professional soccer player and personal trainer.
Andrew obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Thematic Sequence in Manufacturing Engineering from Miami University in 2006, followed by a Master’s of Education in Exercise Science from Cleveland State in 2012. While at Miami, he was the team captain on their soccer team which qualified for Nationals. Andrew is a Certified Personal Trainer from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a Performance Training Specialist from NASM. He is a certified soccer referee through the OSHAA and US Soccer Federation.
Coach Loufman played for the Louisville Lightening PASL Soccer team based in Louisville, KY in 2010-2011 and the Cleveland City Stars USL Professional Soccer Team in 2007. He has been a personal trainer for LA Fitness in San Diego and at Five Seasons in Cleveland.
Andrew is an avid runner, qualifying for the Boston Marathon with a time of 3:10.44 at the Cleveland Marathon in 2009. He has placed high at a variety of events in Cleveland, including half-marathons, 5k races, and half-Ironman triathlons. He has traveled to 15 countries in Africa, Central America, and Europe. He has also been a police officer in Louisville, KY, a teacher in Kentucky and Ohio, and owned and operated his own landscaping business for six years.
Coach Loufman looks forward to leading the women on the soccer field this season . He will be focusing on setting team and individual goals, being motivated for every game, and challenging themselves. “Together I will help make their LCCC soccer experience enjoyable, full of variety, and achieve their goals with sustained results", states Coach Loufman.
