Real Estate Principles and Practices
A 40-hour course that familiarizes each student with the principles and practices of the real estate business. Topics include the study of the nature, importance, and character of land; the real estate market; financing; property ownership; stages in the real estate transaction; and appraisals, escrow, and title work. Special attention will be given to fair housing, civil rights and ethics. This course partially fulfills the Ohio Department of Real Estate's requirements to sit for the sales examination. A 40-hour course on the historical development of land ownership, its components, rights and responsibilities of ownership and estates. 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution Seminar)
Long Term Evolution (LTE), is the latest standard in the mobile network technology tree that previously realized the GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSxPA network technologies. The LTE specification provides downlink peak rates of at least 100 Mbps, an uplink of at least 50 Mbps and RAN round-trip times of less than 10 ms. Programming Fundamentals with VBA
This introductory level class will explore the fundamentals of application development and programming using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). VBA is the most available programming language that exists as it is included with, and runs under Microsoft Office applications. Students will be introduced to basic syntax and the common building blocks of programming including variable declaration, working with procedures, using the macro recorder for writing code, error handling and automation. This class will help students become familiar with the programming environment, help them begin to understand how to automate some of their daily work processes, and give them a foundation for migrating to higher level programming classes such as VB.Net.
