The SkillsMAX program, developed by Enterprise Ohio, is a package of job profiling, employee assessment and training tools that can help you the hire the right person for the job.

The process starts with a job analysis, which identifies the knowledge, skills and abilities needed for the job. Applicants are then tested in the specific performance criteria, abilities, aptitudes, and industry knowledge. If you like, applicants can even be given personality assessments to ensure that the candidate's preferences and motivations are consistent with the demands of the position.

There are other program features as well. Based on information from the job analysis, SkillsMAX can provide job descriptions and interview questions. We will even recommend training that can turn a good prospect into a great employee. SkillsMAX ensures that you get an excellent match of skills and experience for every job opening.

SkillsMAX Services

  • Job Analysis
    Proven job analysis tools to develop accurate job descriptions, establish requirements, restructure departments, and create new positions.  LCCC is proud to announce that these processes are used internally and have had proven success with both new employees and talent growth.
     
  • Knowledge and Industry-Specific Assessment
    SkillsMAX is prod to announce that Brainbench, The Psychological Assessment Network (PAN), and QWIZ have been incorporated in the SkillsMAX toolbox to offer hundreds of job relevant assessments that will assist in skill documentation, selection, and assessment of training needs.
     
  • 360 Degree Feedback
    360 Degree feedback tools generate critical job performance data from an employee's colleagues, direct supervisors, subordinates, and customers.  This can be used to document performance and as a starting point for employee development issues.
     
  • IT Certification
    The SkillsMAX Center is an authorized Pearson VUE, Thomson Prometric, and Certiport testing center.  Certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, and Cisco can be delivered with immediate results, assisting individuals who wish to document IT skills
     
  • Testing for College Credit
    SkillsMAX is an authorized CLEP and DSST testing center where students receive credit for what they already know to expedite degree completion and save money.
     
  • Element K
    Online learning that is flexible and timely.  Courses range from advanced IT, basic desktop, project management, and many more bundles that can help individual build skills to make them more marketable and help companies develop employees and grow talent.
