Entrepreneurship Innovation Institute Information Technology Programs and Certifications

Nearly every IT program and certification course is offered from vendors such as Microsoft, Comp Tia, and Cisco in programming, networking, help desk, security, application/web development and multi-media and graphic design.

Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA)
LCCC offers the CCNA program credit as well as non-credit. Courses are taught on campus using the Cisco training program. Train to become a network administrator in four semesters.

MCP Microsoft Certified Professional
This first step in certification demonstrates in-depth knowledge of at least one Microsoft operating system. Additional specialization may be achieved by passing other Microsoft certification exams. According to a study conducted by Applied Research Consultants, 90 percent of Microsoft Certified Professionals (MCPs) said certification was extremely useful in their work. In another study, managers and supervisors felt that their MCPs were significantly more competent than non-certified employees.

MCSA Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator
The Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) on Microsoft Windows® 2003 certification is designed for professionals who implement, manage, and troubleshoot existing Windows 2003-based systems, including Windows .NET Server. Implementation responsibilities include installing and configuring parts of the systems. Management responsibilities include administering and supporting the systems.

Microsoft Certification Courses
LCCC offers several Microsoft courses including MS 2272, 2274, 2275, 2276, 2277. These courses lead toward several certifications including the MCSA, MCSE and more.

Microsoft Project
According to industry experts, project management training is not only important, it's indispensable! Well-managed, carefully chosen projects that are completed on time, within budget and delivered to the agreed upon scope add considerably to an organizations' bottom line. MS Project helps you understand how to use planning methods and tools available and how to improve planning and scheduling in your organization.

Network + Vendor-Neutral Certification
Network+ Certification is a non-vendor, non-product specific certification program that validates your knowledge as a networking professional and demonstrates a wide range of skills required in today's network environments. The program was developed with the support of major computer hardware and software vendors, distributors, resellers, and publications in the industry. At course completion, the student will be able to demonstrate knowledge of network troubleshooting, TCP/IP, network operating systems, network installation and upgrading, managing user accounts and passwords, remote access and administration, and fault tolerance and disaster recovery.
