Golden 30:
Growing Companies Demonstrating
World-Class Performance
The Morning Journal and Lorain County Community College, in conjunction with the Lorain County Growth Partnership, First Place Bank, Cohen and Company, the Community Foundation of Lorain County, the Lorain County Joint Vocational School and Team Lorain County will recognize the fastest growing new and established companies in Lorain, Erie and Huron counties. The top thirty companies (15 new and 15 established) will be selected based on average sales and employment growth.
To qualify for the award, companies must meet the following criteria:

Located in Lorain, Erie or Huron counties, or have a major facility located in this region.

Organized for profit.

Have been in business for a minimum of five years.

Sales figures for any business in 2004 of at least $50,000 (all sales figures will be kept strictly confidential).
The companies that are selected for the Golden 30 Award will be honored at the annual recognition dinner on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at the Spitzer Conference Center on the LCCC campus.
