Golden 30:
Growing Companies Demonstrating
World-Class Performance

The Morning Journal and Lorain County Community College, in conjunction with the Community Foundation of Lorain County, First Place Bank, GLIDE, the Lorain County Growth Partnership, Lorain County JVS and Team Lorain County will  recognize the fastest growing new and established companies in Lorain, Erie and Huron counties. The top thirty companies (15 new and 15 established) are selected based on average sales and employment growth.

To qualify for the award, companies must meet the following criteria:

  1. Located in Lorain, Erie or Huron counties, or have a major facility located in this region.
  2. Organized for profit.
  3. Have been in business for a minimum of five years.
  4. Sales figures for any business in 2007 of at least $50,000 (all sales figures will be kept strictly confidential).

The companies that are selected for the Golden 30 Award will be honored at the 15th annual recognition dinner on:

  • Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 6 p.m. 
  • Spitzer Conference Center on the LCCC campus.
