Click here for the course outline.

This course will cover the Five Phases of the Active School Shooters as developed by Dan Marcou.  It will provide educators with insight as to the minds of the killers and what to look for in future active shooters.  The course will give school personnel and others that work inside a school environment an idea of the thoughts and actions of active shooters before they commit their crimes. The course will also include training on how to respond when an active shooter is in your area.

The goal of the workshop is to empower school staff to intervene with students who could pose a danger to schools and promote communication with local law enforcement.  The primary objective is to help educators and staff understand ways to prevent violence, as well as respond, to save lives.
