Should weather conditions dictate that college operations be suspended, Campus Security will notify people on campus via telephone, public address and personal contact. Check the radio and television stations to the right for information on campus closings.
When inclement weather or other emergency conditions occur during other than normal business hours, the Campus Security Officer on duty will notify Campus Security Director who will assess conditions. A determination regarding the closing of the campus will be made by the Director in concert with Physical Plant and Academic division representatives. If events transpire to warrant an emergency closing of the campus during other than normal business hours, the Director will contact local radio and television stations with the appropriate announcements. Additionally, notices will be posted on the College's web site at www.lorainccc.edu.
