About Us
Mission - To serve Lorain County and its neighborhoods to address basic needs, enhance individual and family life and improve neighborhoods and communities.
Vision - Neighborhood House Association's vision is to achieve genuine communities of inclusion and empowerment for all individuals.
Programs - Child Care Centers - providing subsidized child care at the City View Child Care Center and Elyria Neighborhood House, Emergency Assistance - Crisis Intervention Program providing rent and morgage assistance, Haven Center for the Homeless - a 24-hour homeless shelter, Help Me Grow - child development program, Oberlin Senior Center - fosters independent living for seniors by offering a homemaker and chore program for seniors who need help maintaining their homes or apartments, Senior Nutrition program (Meals on Wheels) - delivers meals to homes throughout the county, and Children's Summer Camp.
