Lorain County Community College has partnered with Apple Computer's iTunes U service, which enables LCCC to offer audio and video content through iTunes. Podcasts can be downloaded to PC and Apple computers for viewing or downloaded to Apple iPod and standard MP3 players.

There is no charge to access any LCCC podcast. However, Apple's iTunes software must be installed on your computer to access the site. 

To access the LCCC iTunes site, just click the iTunes button in the box to the right. 

• If you have iTunes software installed on your computer, you will be directed to the LCCC iTunes U site. 
• If you do not have the software, you will be directed to an iTunes download site, where you can download the software for no charge.  If you are not automatically directed to the iTunes download site, just visit http://www.apple.com/itunes/download.

What is a podcast?

Podcasts are essentially MP3 files that can be played directly through your computer and downloaded to Apple iPods and MP3 players. 

Due to the file sizes, it is suggested that you download files with a high-speed Internet connection. Dial-up users may experience long wait times during downloads.

Note: An iPod or MP3 player is not required to access podcasts from your computer.  However, the players can be used to store and play back podcasts that are downloaded from the iTunes U site.
