Managing your iPad with iTunes

Functions of the different tabs in iTunes:
- Summary:
- Check for updates
- Restore your iPad to factory settings
- Backup your iPad to iCloud
- Change the way that your iPad syncs with iTunes
- Info:
- Choose what contacts are synced and where they are synced from
- Choose what calendars are synced and where they are synced from
- Choose what email accounts are synced and where they are synced from
- Choose to replace contacts, calendars, and email accounts from the information on your computer.
- Apps:
- Choose to sync apps from iTunes to your iPad and vice versa
- Change the order that apps are displayed on the home screen
- Ringtones:
- Choose what ringtones that you would like to sync to your iPad (ringtones can be purchased through iTunes)
- Music:
- Choose what music you would like synced on to your iPad
- You can choose to have your whole iTunes music library synced, or just specific songs, artists, albums, or genres
- Choose to sync music videos and Voice Memos (voice memos are taken using the iPad)

Movies & TV Shows:
- Choose to sync movies and TV Shows with iTunes
- Podcasts:
- Choose what Podcasts to sync to your iPad. You can choose a variety of options including only syncing Podcasts that you haven’t listened to.
- Books:
- Choose what books, Audio books, or PDF files that you would like to sync with your iPad
