Lorain County Community College offers an assortment of clubs and organizations on campus. Membership in most of these clubs and organizations is open to any student.

All Combative Forms
The Goal of the ACF is to promote physical fitness, knowledge of all style and forms of martial arts, and to develop and share skills to help each individual become more disciplined physically and mentally. The ACF promotes the art of expressing the human body through combative form.

Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)
This is the Lorain County Community College (LCCC) Student Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery. The Chapter is organized and will be operated exclusively for educational and scientific purposes to promote an increased knowledge of and greater interest in the science, design, development, construction, languages, management and applications of modern computing.

Anime Society
The main purpose of the Anime Society of LCCC will be to provide its members with quality entertainment in the form of Anime (Japanese Animation) films, as well as other forms of Asian and occasional Western Pop cinema. Also Anime Society intends to hold presentations and workshops in order to educate interested parties from both LCCC and the surrounding communities, the art, style, culture, history and lifestyles found in both anime and anime fandom.

Asthma Support Group
The purpose of the Asthma Support Group is to educate students and the community of the different options and medications available for control of asthma.

Black Progressives
The purpose of Black Progressives is to be an outlet for the common cultural and educational interest of the students of Lorain County Community College who come from African American background. It is also to give students interested in multicultural issues an opportunity to learn about various aspects of the African American culture and experience, to create a group for members to foster closer relationships with one another, LCCC Campus community and the Community at Large.

The Campus Crusade for Christ is a group of students united in friendship and fellowship by their faith in Christ. Campus Crusade for Christ is an interdenominational, student, Christian group seeking to provide a spiritual environment for students.

Collegiate Middle Level Association for Teachers (CMLA)
The Collegiate Middle Level Association for teachers promotes professional growth for students who wish to become Middle School educators. CMLA is a charter chapter of the National Middle School Association and is dedicated to providing significant learning opportunities for Middle Childhood Education candidates to extend their classroom experiences and better prepare them for their careers.

Duck Radio
LCCC Radio - The Duck is a Student-operated Internet radio station operating 24 hours a day and offering programs to satisfy many different music tastes. The Duck also offers some DJ positions to students interested in learning the trade.

Fine Arts Society
The LCCC Fine Arts Society is an organization that promotes expression through fine arts. This club focuses on involvement with the planning of the murals on campus as well as trips to area museums and art exhibits. Students who wish to have time to spend on art outside of class are encouraged to join.

Firelands Student Nurse Association
The purpose of the Student Nurses' Association located on the Firelands Campus is to assume responsibility for contributing to nursing education through providing programs representative of fundamental and current professional interest and concerns to students and the community.

French Club
The LCCC French Club promotes French culture, language and civilization on the LCCC Campus through encouragement in participation in foreign exchange programs here at LCCC and supporting students in any of the French Programs.

Through open discussions and activities, the Los Unidos Club attempts to bring the student body closer together in the development of the Hispanic culture. The purpose of Los Unidos is to provide the opportunity for the cultural and educational exploration of the numerous and varied aspects of the Hispanic/Latino culture for all students receiving their education at Lorain County Community College.

Multi Cultural Club
The purpose of the Multicultural Club will be to explore and promote an increased understanding of various cultures of the world among he students of Lorain County Community College. Members of the club will have the opportunity to better their leadership abilities through their participation. The club will collaborate with other clubs, as well as the Faculty, teachers, and students of this college to achieve these ends. The activities of the club will extend beyond the college to the community.

Northeast Ohio Software Association is designed for students interested in the field of software creation and use. The specific purpose of NEOSA-LCCC Student Chapter is to promote the interaction of students with interests in information technology and computer related issues of concern to Lorain County Community College/University Partnership students.

The purpose of OCMEA is to expand and promote the music curriculum and to create contacts within the music education communities of Ohio.

Phi Theta Kappa
An honorary society interested in promoting academic achievement and fellowship. It is open to both male and female students. Application procedures and induction ceremonies are held in the fall and spring. The purpose of Phi Pi shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among community/junior college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Pi shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence.

Provides insight into the field through various activities and promotes education and awareness within the members, the campus and the community. Membership in the PTAA is open to any Student at LCCC.

PRIDE Club
The PRIDE Club (People Respecting Individual Diversity Everywhere) encourages people to be open about who they are and accepting of who others are. The club does fundraising for AIDS, Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, and other organizations in need. The club holds weekly meetings to discuss outings and special community events to encourage individual diversity.

Role Players Association
The Role Players Association is an organization to promote socialization through tabletop and live action gaming. The organization includes opportunities to play trading card games, tabletop games and live action role playing games with others of the same interest as well as those who are just curious about the club and want to come have fun hanging out and meeting new people with similar interests.

Society of Manufacturing Engineers
This is a student chapter of the National Society of Manufacturing Engineers with the purpose of providing a common ground where students can meet professionals from industry to discuss new ideas, job opportunities, etc.

A student chapter of the American Dental Hygiene Association with the purpose of providing an organization where students can interface with professional Dental Hygienists and discuss opportunities in the field.

Students In Free Enterprise
The club is open to all LCCC students who are interested in exploring careers in the business world. This is done by activities such as guest speakers, seminars, and company tours. Students can have active roles in the contact of companies and learn leadership skills.

Student Nurse Association functions to have direct input into the demands of nursing education, with influence on health care and practice. Satellite student associations are also at Firelands BGSU, Medina Career Center and Terra Community College.

Student Senate
The LCCC Student Senate provides full student representation on all matters pertaining to student life. The Senate promotes awareness of the problems and the procedures that would be of importance to the student body. Elections are held each spring. Student Senate meetings are open for any student to attend.

VOX Voices for Planned Parenthood
VOX: Voices for Planned Parenthood of Lorain County Community College exists to educate the college community about reproductive health and rights, to translate increased awareness into pro-choice activism on campus, and to serve as a coalition partner to state, national and international reproductive rights efforts.

VOX believes in the fundamental rights of everyday individual to manage his or her fertility. VOC Supports full access to comprehensive reproductive and complementary health care services in settings that preserve and protect essential privacy and rights of each individual; advocates public policies that guarantee these rights and ensure access to such services; and support access to medically accurate education programs that enhance understanding of human sexuality.
