Online Tutoring/eTutoring

eTutoring is offered as an extension to the face-to-face tutoring offered through the Tutoring Center. Lorain County Community College has joined eTutoring.org to provide free, professional online tutoring in areas of Writing, Math up to Calculus II (including Statistics), Accounting, Biology, and Chemistry. 

The tutoring options available are: 

  • eQuestions: online question submission with an archive of previously posted questions & answers. 
  • eWriting: online writing lab with an archive of previously submitted papers and revisions.
  • eChat: live communication tool that allows tutors and students to chat, whiteboard, share files & applications, as well as use audio & video tools. 
  • Resources: vast collection of tips, techniques and additional links to help students improve their writing skills.

If you are interested in utilizing this service, please complete and submit the form below. The LCCC Tutoring Center will set up your account. and submit to the Tutoring Center at to set up an account.  You will receive an email from eTutoring with information to confirm your account.

Extended Hours for Spring Registration

Enrollment, Financial and Career Services will be open 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday beginning Monday, November 17.

Register now and get a $10 Starbucks gift card. While supplies last, students who register or add a class to their current Spring schedule will receive a $10 Starbucks Gift Card. Students who register in person can collect their gift card in LCCC’s Enrollment Services desk in the Bass Library.  If you register online or over the phone, your gift card will be mailed to you.

Midterm Grades Now Available

Fall Semester students are encouraged to check midterm grades by logging into MyCampus going to the Student Center. Please refer to www.lorainccc.edu/grades for detailed instructions.

MyTuition Guarantee

LCCC students now have the opportunity to participate in the MyTuition Guarantee. This new program holds tuition and fee rates for students registering in fall 2014 and spring 2015 for up to three years or until the completion of a degree, whichever comes first.
