ANGEL Updates
October, 2009: The ANGEL Secure Browser is now available for proctored online testing at LCCC’s Main Campus Testing Center (PC 107), Wellington and Midpoint Centers. Faculty who want to use this higher level of security for online tests in ANGEL should attend a half-hour information session on the ANGEL Secure Browser. Link to Faculty ANGEL Training Schedule at:

October, 2009: Faculty who are using the old ANGEL Quizzes (single check-marked icon) need to migrate to ANGEL Assessments (triple-check-marked icon) as soon as possible. ANGEL is now upgraded to version 7.3 effective August 6, 2009.
Faculty can begin copying and working in their courses for Fall semester. There are a few very important items to note:

ANGEL 7.3 does NOT support Internet Explorer 6. Internet Explorer 7 and 8 and Firefox 3 are supported for PCs. Mac users can continue to use Firefox. Safari and Internet Explorer are NOT supported for Macs.
- In ANGEL 7.3 there are several new steps to merge courses. We highly recommend that you follow the naming format provided in this Merged Roster Manager document. Failure to properly name your course may result in your course being deleted by ANGEL Data Management.
- In ANGEL 7.3 the Quiz tool is not available for creating tests and quizzes. You must create tests and quizzes using the Assessment tool. When doing a course copy, we recommend that you check "migrate quizzes to assessments". Below are the icons used for the Quiz and Assessment tools used in 7.2 (the old version), and the Assessment tools you will now see in 7.3.

Defaults for the discussion forums in 7.3 are different than 7.2. If you want forums to behave as they did in 7.2 click here for the settings. Repeat the settings for each forum.
