RELG 181, Introduction to World Religions

(16 Week Class – Begins August 17 - Ends December 13)
This course will be delivered using the ANGEL course management system. After registering, read the webpage "How to Use ANGEL For Your Course" and follow the step-by-step directions. If you are new to ANGEL, before your class begins be sure to try out the ANGEL Sandbox Orientation Class where you can play in ANGEL and learn about its most common features. There are also ANGEL Video Tutorials you can watch that demonstrate how to use ANGEL.
Internet courses cannot be accessed until the first day of your class. Once your class begins you must log on to participate.
In addition to the course textbook, lectures on various religions are a required component of the course. The lectures will be available via videostreaming for students with high speed Internet access. Students unable to view the streamed videos must purchase a set of DVDs from the LCCC Bookstore.
This course also requires viewing videos that are available via videostreaming from the LCCC library's Ohio Link database. The bar code number from a student's LCCC ID card is required to access the videos. Identification cards can be obtained or updated at the library circulation desk. Students that have no on-campus classes should call the Library Circulation Desk at (440) 366-4026. The student's information and schedule will be verified over the phone and an ID card will be mailed.
