MTHM 027, Basic Algebra Part II

This Interactive course is broadcast on the LCCC Cable Channel which is included in most basic cable TV packages in Lorain County. Students will receive the Orientation for this interactive course as part of the live broadcast of the first class.

MTHM 033, Intro to Technical Mathematics

(16 Week Class – Begins January 19 - Ends May 19)

This course will be delivered using the ANGEL course management system.  After registering, read the webpage "How to Use ANGEL For Your Course" and follow the step-by-step directions. If you are new to ANGEL, before your class begins be sure to try out the ANGEL Sandbox Orientation Class where you can play in ANGEL and learn about its most common features. There are also ANGEL Video Tutorials you can watch that demonstrate how to use ANGEL. Attendance at Instructor Orientation is required.

Internet courses cannot be accessed until the first day of your class.  Once your class begins you must log on to participate.

All tests are taken on campus, or in some cases arrangements can be made with the instructor to be proctored off campus.

Students should purchase the textbook in the LCCC Bookstore, and bring the enclosed software verification certificate to the Orientation. (Access to the software will not be granted until software certificate is received.) Students will use an interactive software program on CD ROM which must be installed on his/her computer. Only an IBM compatible computer can be used for this course. The software program will NOT work on a Macintosh computer.

Attendance at Instructor Orientation is mandatory for all students who have not used My Math Lab before.
