ACTG 151 Accounting Principles I

(8 Week Class – Begins June 9 - Ends August 1)

This course will be delivered using the ANGEL course management system. After registering, read the webpage "How to Use ANGEL For Your Course".  Be sure to watch the ANGEL Video Tutorials.  The instructor will open this course on the Saturday before the beginning of the semester. Students must get involved in the course on the first day of class. Once your class begins you must log on to participate.

The textbook that will be used for this course is: "Financial Accounting" by Harrison and Horngren, 6th edition, Pearson-Prentice Hall Publishing. A special package that includes working papers on a CD, is only available in the LCCC Bookstore.

BADM 251 – Principles of Management

This course will be delivered using the ANGEL course management system. After registering, read the webpage "How to Use ANGEL For Your Course".  Be sure to watch the ANGEL Video Tutorials. Internet courses cannot be accessed until the first day of the term. Once your class begins you must log on to participate. 

This course requires the use of a CD as well as the textbook. The CD is called, "Mastering Management." The ISBN No. for the CD is 0130600008. It is only available in the LCCC Bookstore, or from Prentice Hall. The textbook being used is a customized version of "Management" 4th e. by Williams, Thomson Publishing Company, www.thomsonlearning.com. System requirements are listed on the CD. Your computer must have a minimum of 32 MB of Ram and Windows 95 or higher. It is essential that you are able to run this program because it will be part of your learning experience and there are assessment quizzes based on program content.

You will need to have access to MS Word 2.0 or higher for all course assignments. You cannot use any other software because I may be unable to translate the file into a readable document. Sending assignments as email messages is not acceptable in this course.
