Helpful Websites for Testing and Scholarships

Welcome to the Early College High School program!  It is a privilege for us to be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.  By partnering with Lorain and Elyria City Schools, and LCCC, we have access to many resources to assist students in their academic pursuits.  We can serve as a liaison between the two home schools and the college.  We work closely with LCCC’s academic advisors and counselors at LCCC and are familiar with the same services provided at the Connection Center located here on campus.  As an LCCC student, you are eligible for up to two hours of tutoring at the Academic Support Center, located in the LCCC library.  See either of us for more information in this regard.

A great way to communicate with us is through email or phone.  You can email or call us at the addresses and numbers listed above.  Any student who attends Lorain County Early College High School may utilize the services of the Academic Advisor. You may schedule an appointment with the counselor to help with academic, personal, or social concerns.  If necessary, referral information to outside agencies for assistance is available.

We can also schedule conferences to meet with students, parents, and teachers to discuss a learning plan if a student is having difficulty with any core subject. Students are asked to make an appointment with the counselors by filling out a purple form available in the classrooms or office.  When dealing with transcript requests or college information in an effort to assist with communicating to your home school, Mrs. Wagner assists students with last names that begin with A through L; Ms. Owens assists students with last names that begin with M through Z.

You can find a wealth of information about college, career, testing, and scholarship opportunities right at your fingertips by exploring the websites to the right.

Remember the old adage:  If I plan to learn, I must learn to plan.  Plan to see me soon, so we can begin to map your way to earning your high school diploma and associate's degree!
