Career ReStart
Lorain County Community College has partnered with the State of Ohio for a career program designed to reach disproportionately unemployed and underemployed residents. LCCC's Career ReStart program is geared towards Hispanics and African Americans, and will have innovative strategies to bring women into high-demand careers.
The Career ReStart program packages a wide range of career development, education and employment services. Innovative partnerships with community and faith based organizations throughout the County will support targeted outreach as well as community-based support on the path to success.
Services include:
- Personalized career mentoring/advising
- Financial resources for those who qualify
- Student support services
- Academic help
- Employment placement assistance
- Entrepreneurship exploration experiences
