LCCC CareerLink: FREE Online Job Board for Employers Looking for Qualified Candidates

Through CareerLink, successful job candidates in the system who fit your requirements can access the system 24 hours a day, seven days a week to check for openings for which they qualify.

Resume Matching Service
When job candidates find they are qualified for an opening that you have listed, they will apply according to your job posting contact instructions. You can then pre-select and schedule interviews with candidates you think may "fit."  We can also search our resume database and email potential candidates to you.

Use LCCC CareerLink to post employment opportunities and search for applicants.  You will receive resumes from qualified candidates.

On-Campus Recruiting

Employers may schedule on campus recruiting sessions. It is a one-stop opportunity to meet numbers of qualified candidates. Career Services will be happy to facilitate the arrangements for you.

Annual Career Fairs

Our Allied Health Fair and Career Expo are held on campus each spring, providing employers the opportunity to meet and speak with many qualified LCCC and University Partner students, alumni and community members. Job seekers, in turn, have a chance to learn about your organization and polish their networking skills. This is designed to be a win-win for employers and job candidates alike. Hiring Consultation
Sound hiring decisions can result in huge savings for you. Employment and Career Services' pre-employment consultation services, including a broad range of tests or assessments appropriate to the situation can be of great help. And so is Career Net's job matching system.

Job Retention
If employees are having problems on the job, our job retention services can diagnose the problem and work with the employee, resulting in improved performance and a better fit between workers and work- and work environment.

Job Coaching
Job coaching can help develop employees' strengths and foster their growth and value to the organization.

Outplacement Services
These services help the transitioning employee develop "self-marketing" tools such as: job search planning, resume construction, interview preparation, and career decision-making.

SkillsMAX

The SkillsMAX program, developed by Enterprise Ohio, is an outstanding package of job profiling, employee assessment and training tools that can help you the hire the right person for the job. LCCC is the only one of 10 campuses in the state that offers this outstanding program.

The process starts with a work profile, which identifies the knowledge, skills and abilities needed for the job. Applicants are then tested in the specific performance criteria. If you like, applicants can even be given personality assessments to ensure that the candidate's preferences and motivations are consistent with the demands of the position.
