Adjunct instructors needed to teach the following day and/or evenings, weekends, and blended options using Angel.  Instructors also needed for the outreach locations, including Wellington, Lorain, Brunswick, and North Ridgeville.

  • Android Device Programming
  • Cisco CCNA Certification courses
  • Intro to Computers
  • iPod Programming (objective C)
  • Local Area Networks (Windows Server 2008 and 2012)
  • Operating systems (Windows and Linux)
  • Software Development in C# and Java
  • Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree required; college teaching experience preferred.

Allied Health & Nursing Division

 

 

Lecturer for Surgical Technology Program

 

Principle tasks, duties and responsibilities:

  1. Teach a 4 credit Surgical Technology Course, covering certain surgical specialties
  2. Responsible for meeting all course objectives and outcomes through lecture, class activities, homework assignments, reading assignments, grading and communication with students
  3. Utilize technology in meeting outcomes, including course, program and college software
  4. Participates in the assessment of student learning

 

Requirements include:

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
  • Associates degree in Surgical Technology or Nursing
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years scrubbing in surgery in a variety of surgical specialties
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, with a record of excellence in clinical performance
  • Strong desire to teach
  • Broad knowledge of operating room standards and practices

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Master's degree in any other field; RN's are welcome to apply but must also possess the CST credential.  CNOR is preferred.

  • RN's are welcome to apply, but must also possess the CST credential
  • Prefer RN's with CNOR credential

Associate Degree (RN) Nursing Licensed Practical Nursing Clinical Adjunct Faculty

 

Clinical Adjunct faculty are needed for RN and LPN instruction.  Individuals must be able to direct nursing students in the clinical agency under the direction of the Program Director and full-time faculty responsible for the RN and PN courses.

Qualifications include an active license to practice in the state of Ohio or eligible, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred, with 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience.
