The PROS Professional Development Program
Get connected! Be one of our "PROS" and enhance your job opportunities.
PROS is a comprehensive program designed to help students / job seekers to be successful in today’s competitive job market. In order to qualify “PROs” candidates must complete the following:
- Professional quality resume (development and critique)
- Register with LCCC’s Online Job Listing System
- One-minute “hire me” commercial & mock interview (prepared and video taped)
- Seminar (Attend a job search seminar)
Ten lucky PROS participants who complete the program by April 11,2008 will have the opportunity to enhance their career opportunities by:
- Dining with employers at the annual LCCC Career EXPO luncheon on April 23, 2008
- Presenting a video taped “hire me” commercial at the luncheon
All participants who complete the program will:
- Have their resume and one-minute infomercial recorded on a DVD distributed to employers
- Receive a PROS Certificate
“PROS” COMPLETION CARD
In order to receive credit for the PROS program, you must have your instructor initial each of the required items. Click here for a sample of the completion card.
When you have completed all the items you must return the card to the Employment and Career Services desk by Friday, April 11, 2008. Students who turn in their completed cards will be invited to a luncheon with employers on the day of Career Expo (April 23). Limited seats are available.
