Student Success Coaches

Student Success Coaches

Student Success Coaches assist students with navigating through the challenges of higher education. Students and coaches work together to develop proactive strategies to address academic concerns and life challenges. The one-on-one coaching sessions designed to address each student’s particular needs begins this process. That connection continues growing as we teach our students about the many resources available on Lorain County Community College’s campus.

The possibilities discovered during a coaching session come from the student. Student Success Coaches function as the compass on a student’s journey. Every student shares one commonality – completion. Whether that completion consists of a degree, certificate, or class your success coach will help you identify and move beyond obstacles that may hinder success.
