- Adult Career Pathways:
Israel Mendoza and Dr. Laurance Warford The most dramatic thing about career pathways is that the average American will have seven, that's right, seven career in their lifetime. This emphasizes the need for all to be in a habit of lifelong learning as everytime we change careers training and education will be involved. Unfortunately our educational insituttions and support systems are built around young students who will go through school and into jobs in a linear fashion and as if they were never going to change jobs in their lifetime. Thus the notion of career pathways will lead in a way of new thinking around lifeling learning in our society. |
