This highly interactive workshop is designed to educate, inspire, and rejuvenate community college educators across the curriculum.  This workshop provides a conceptual framework and hands-on experience in planning and implementing cooperative learning in the college classroom.  During the workshop participants will gain insight into structuring cooperative activities using the key elements.  They will learn ways to form groups and troubleshoot problems.  In addition, participants will explore approaches to assessing or grading group work.  Since the workshop will describe and model discipline-specific cooperative learning activities, participants will have opportunities to develop cooperative learning activities which they can take back and implement right away.

Lunch is included both days.

Registration is preferred by August 12, 2013.
If seats are still available, the workshop will be opened to adjuncts.

If you have any questions, please contact Jonathan Dryden at or extension 4730.
